PROJECT DESIGN
As a design concept, the Mt. Mlarayat Golf & Country Club & Residential Estates is laid out on the undulating landscape at the base of the Malarayat Mountain range. each structure provides transitions of space & volume, echoing the physical form of mountains. The vision was to create a seamless integration between natural elements and the man-made.
Roofs are of varying heights, unified by uniform slopes. Buildings are linked with various space experiences through a series of balconies, trellised walkways, water patio, etc. The main challenge in designing the entire complex was to maintain the human scale of the various structures, without depriving guests the pleasure of strolling from one facility to another.

PROJECT BACKGROUND
Mt. Malarayat Golf & Country Club & Residential Estates is located in Lipa City, Batangas. It is the flagship project of theActive Group.
Total land area is about 200 hectares. Elevation is around 1,200 feet above sea level. From the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) in Calamba, Laguna. It is accessible through the Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) toll gate.
Lipa is strategically located in the center of the Cavity - Laguna - Batangas - Rizal - Quezon (CALABARZON) economic zone identified by the government as engine of growth for the region. As such, the government has supported this area with the necessary infrastructure to encourage continued economic growth over a long term.
Mt. Malarayat Golf & Country Club & Residential Estates was built in accordance with the general plan of the area. When all the industrial projects and facilities in the area have been completed. Malarayat is become its bedroom and recreational community.

The centerpiece of this project is the 27 - hole championship all-weather golf course designed by the J. Michael Poelle (JMP) Design Group. With its club and sport facilities, Mt. Malarayat Golf & Country Club & Residential Estates is an ideal weekend / vacation destinationfor the entire family. It is also the logical choice for corporate activities for the various manufacturing companies based in nearby technoparks.
